In the podcast episode, Reminisce revealed how Olamide introduced him to the young and talented Mohbad. Their initial meeting left Mohbad ecstatic and eager to feature Reminisce on his "Blessed" EP. However, Olamide had different plans. He believed it was best for Reminisce to collaborate on his album instead.
Reminisce recounted his silent observance of the unfolding process, as Olamide ensured that Mohbad worked on a verse for the indigenous rap lord. This collaboration resulted in the hit track "Shina Peters," released in May 2023, just four months before Mohbad's untimely death.
