Oladips, a Nigerian rapper, was reported to have died on Tuesday night after being hospitalized for an unknown ailment. His management announced his demise on his social media page, saying he passed away at 10:14 pm.

However, the death news turned out to be a publicity stunt to create buzz for his forthcoming album. QDot, a friend and colleague of Oladips, revealed that the rapper was alive and well. He said the death hoax was part of the rapper's strategy to promote his music project.
This did not sit well with Etinosa, a Nollywood actress, who took to her page to blast the management of Oladips for playing with such a sensitive issue. She said the management had no sense and was insensitive to the feelings of the rapper's fans and family. She also advised the rapper to fire his management and get a better team.
