Wunmi Aloba, the widow of the late Afrobeats star Mohbad, has finally spoken out about the ongoing saga surrounding her family. She accused her father-in-law of stalling the DNA test that many have been clamoring for to determine the paternity of her son, Liam Light.

Wunmi, who has been struggling financially and emotionally since Mohbad's death two months ago, said she is ready for a DNA test but cannot afford it. She challenged those who are insisting on the test to pay for it themselves.
She also revealed that she has not received any official communication from her father-in-law or his lawyer regarding the DNA test. She said she only sees the public demand on social media, but no one has contacted her or her lawyer to make arrangements for the test.
Her statement came after actress Iyabo Ojo had a live Instagram session with her, where she expressed her sympathy and support for Wunmi. Iyabo ojo shared some details of their conversation with her followers, saying that Wunmi is willing to cooperate with the DNA test but needs financial assistance.
"She said no one has informed her, no one has reached out, that she is only seeing it on social media. She said her father-in-law's lawyer has not reached out to her lawyer. Those who want DNA test should pay for it, I am managing myself and I cannot afford it," Iyabo Ojo said.

The DNA test issue has been a source of controversy since Mohbad's death, which was allegedly caused by an unlicensed nurse who injected him with drugs.
