In a viral video, well-known actress Wumi Toriola declared that she might be amenable to becoming a second wife. Toriola stated that she would be happy to be take on as another wife because she was currently a single mother of one on a show alongside her colleague Deborah Shokoya.
The actress acknowledged that she had been unmarried for some time and that she had previously opposed becoming a second wife. According to Toriola:
"Because I'm after one now, my perspective has changed from believing that I can't be a second, or even a third, wife. I'll marry him if I see someone who is widowed or who is after me. My happiness is what counts.
Additionally, Toriola refuted the notion that actresses are exclusive to the wealthy, stating that this was not true for everyone.
